Presenting Summer Pearl - a captivating vocalist and artist bringing you the goodness you need.

Born and raised in London, Summer’s music is a conscious celebration of black and female liberation, blending a deep appreciation for Soul, Dub, Reggae, Hip-Hop and Jazz to create her own distinct sound. One that is both soulful and gritty, nostalgic and forward looking, melancholic and uplifting.

Three years since her last release - a period focussed on writing new music - ‘Green Eyes’ brings warm, personal and free flowing vocals coupled with a crunching, melodic production.

Summer says: "I'd just come out of a situation with someone I stupidly thought was "the one" and the words just came out of me. ‘Green Eyes’ is a song about realisation. Sometimes when you're in too deep, you can't see what's really happening, what someone or something is doing to you or how it's making you act and react."

Following critically acclaimed releases from UK music legends Andrew Ashong & Kaidi Tatham and Accra based three-piece Nyamekye Junction, Kitto Records are delighted to welcome Summer Pearl to the label. Stay tuned for plenty more music coming soon.
